After a better than expected 2011 Best Balms Corporation will be coming out with a totally DEET free insect repellent named Buggz Off in two formulations for jungle & forest conditions. It is in the final testing stages which will determine the best formulation for all types of weather.
Other exciting news is the possible purchase of a portion of the Best Balms Corporation by a public company which at the moment will remain anonymous. Presently a letter of intent is being negotiated between the principles of the respective corporations.
What this situation will accomplish is a large infusion of capital that will allow Best Balms to aggressively develop its direct marketing program in the continental United States. This will involve a sales force that will target the different retail establishments such as golf shops, tennis centers, holistic & alternative medicine practitioners and martial arts schools.
All of our specialty balms can benefit from this hands on marketing program and with new capital the process can be expedited. It is believed that by March/2012 the letter of intent will be finalized with the full merger being completed by the Summer/2012.
This is an huge boost for Best Balms especially given the current economic climate that has slowed sales down below past estimates. But we have met the revised numbers for the last two quarters of 2011 and hope to exceed these sales figures in 2012.
Another exciting direction that Best Balms Corporation is going in is the support of the bees that are currently being threatened by “colony collapse disorder”. The causes are many and very serious in terms of the survival of the bees that we depend on.
In fact a third of all the commercial crops and fruit production depend on the bees for pollination which as you know is necessary for anything that grows. So in order to be more proactive Best Balms will be contributing 10% of it’s sales to different foundations that do research on “colony collapse disorder”
For more information go to www.bestbalms.com which indicates two worthy causes. In fact, we recommend you supporting this cause which all of us depend on. Save the bees should be our mantra!
Thank you for all your loyal support that has helped make Best balms the third largest specialty balm company in the United States.
